The motivation for starting this blog was to raise awareness about the benefits of hiring Merit Shop Contractors.
Right now the political climate is brutal towards the Merit Shop Contractor and small business. To counter that we need to get involved in our local, state and national politics. Involvement includes being informed; attending the City, County and School board meetings and offering our opinions. We also need to support groups that actively lobby on behalf of small business and Free Enterprise such as ABC, NFIB and our local Chamber of Commerce. Links to those sites are listed.
Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc (www.ABCil.org) is an established organization and offers Merit Shop Contractors tremendous resources.
